Interlibrary Loan via iBorrow

If we do not have a specific item that you would like to borrow, you can request it directly via the iBorrow Interlibrary Loan network of libraries. iBorrow is a one-stop automated request process that results in requests being filled in the most timely and efficient way and allows you to check the status of your requests. iBorrow Libraries throughout Florida and others across the United States participate in Interlibrary Loan cooperative efforts in order to make a greater collection of resources available to library customers.

HCPLC's Interlibrary Loan services are available only to Hillsborough County residents with valid library cards. If you do not live in Hillsborough County, please check with your local library about their Interlibrary Loan services.

First, search the HCPLC online catalog to make sure that a HCPLC library does not own the item. If we do, please use the Place Hold function to request it.

Then, search iBorrow - Requests placed through iBorrow will be filled by other Florida libraries owning the items, depending on the lending policies of the various libraries. Requests not filled from Florida libraries will automatically be reviewed for possible fulfillment from other libraries.
